The AFMLTA International Languages Conference will be held in Adelaide on 11-13 July 2025.
Facilitated by the Australian Federation of Modern Language Teachers Associations (AFMLTA), the conference is held every two years in a different Australian state or territory and provides teachers of Languages across all levels with the opportunity to learn with and from international, national and local presenters.
In designing the conference program, the AFMLTA is committed to providing delegates with opportunities to:
- engage with research, practice and perspectives relating to developments in the field of languages education
- gain insights to innovative approaches to effectively implementing Languages curriculum, teaching and learning, and assessment
- develop knowledge, skills and strategies that positively impact language learning for students
- enhance skills relating to leading and advocating for quality language learning
- strengthen professional networks and connections between languages teachers across levels of schooling, sectors and settings
The call for papers is currently open for presenters to submit workshop proposals.
