Submissions

 

Teachers and researchers engaged in language teaching in schools, universities and community contexts are invited to submit proposals for presentations or workshops at the 24th AFMLTA International Conference in Perth, on 7-9 July 2023. Sessions will be of 45 minutes duration.

Proposals are invited across all themes related to planning, resourcing, teaching, assessing and advocacy for the learning of additional languages, including community and Indigenous languages, and initial language teacher education.

How to submit

Proposals must be submitted via Easychair using the link here.

Please note you must create a personal account on Easychair to submit a proposal.

Once you have created your account, please submit:

  1. Your name, contact details (of one presenter) and a brief biography (100 words maximum).
  2. Your session title and abstract (300 words maximum), which should briefly outline the nature and purpose of your presentation, the language(s) focus, and intended audience for the session (primary/secondary/tertiary/all).

 

There is no need to upload documents.

Timelines

The closing date for submissions is Sunday 30 April 2023.

All proposals will be reviewed, and authors advised of the outcome by Wednesday 31 May 2023.

All confirmed presenters will be eligible to register for the conference at the early bird rate.
